The Problem
You open a new tab dozens of times a day, and by default it's the least interesting, least useful screen in your entire browser.
Zhuzh starts from an odd but obviously true observation: the new tab page is one of the most-viewed screens in anyone's day, and almost nobody's is doing anything for them. So Zhuzh replaces it with a dashboard that actually earns its screen time — curated SpaceX wallpapers (stills and video, cycling manually or automatically, with a favorites system) sitting behind widgets you'll genuinely use.
Chief among them is a pomodoro timer that isn't trapped on the new tab page — it's draggable and persists as you move across other sites, with customizable focus and break lengths, smart notifications, and session tracking, so starting a focus session doesn't mean staring at a blank tab until it's over. Alongside it: a real-time currency converter across 12+ currencies, multiple clock/date widget styles with timezone support, and a smart search bar that respects whatever search engine you already default to.
Quick links combine your actual browser history with up to 10 custom shortcuts you define yourself, so the page adapts to how you actually browse rather than shipping a fixed grid of icons. Everything — theme, layout, widget choices — persists across sessions, in light or dark mode.
